Privacy and data processing
Information about the data used to provide BoxScribe and how to exercise your rights.
Data and purposes
The service processes account and contact details, access records, acceptance of terms, usage, billing and support information. To prepare drafts, it processes audio, instructions, transcripts, templates and content provided by the user. These data are used for authentication, service delivery, payment management, requests and operational security.
Professional content
For uploaded content, the customer normally determines the purpose of processing and BoxScribe processes it to provide the service under the customer's instructions. Customers must have a valid legal basis, inform data subjects where required and limit data to what is necessary. Identifiable content, including health data, must not be treated as anonymous.
Providers
Service delivery may involve infrastructure, transcription, artificial intelligence and payment providers, including providers outside Colombia. Audio is transmitted to necessary providers during processing. Their contractual and technical terms may include their own retention periods. Audio, drafts and retention
BoxScribe does not add original audio to a permanent server archive after processing. Your browser keeps a temporary local copy during the workday until you end the workday or clear site data. Downloaded audio copies are under your control. Drafts remain until deletion or configured expiry. Technical, security or billing records may be retained when necessary; deleting a draft does not immediately erase all such records.
Security and human review
The service uses access controls, user separation and encryption in transit. No system is risk-free. Drafts require human review and do not constitute final professional decisions. Do not email passwords, full card details or patient information to support.
Your rights and contact
You may request access, updates, correction or deletion, information about data use and proof of authorization where applicable, and submit inquiries or complaints to admin@boxscribeapp.com. Include your account email and describe the request without attaching sensitive content. Requests about content processed for a customer will be coordinated with that controller. Applicable rights and complaint channels before competent authorities remain available.
